This soap was handmade by our master soap makers, following the ancient tradition of cold-process soapmaking. Each soap is finished, inspected, and hand-wrapped, packaged like a jewel. The metal box helps preserve the scent and organoleptic characteristics over time.
Using an ancient cold process, a high percentage of glycerin is preserved, making the soap softer, more natural and more delicate.
Mediterranean. Our sea. Mediterranean (in Latin Mediterraneum - Medi: in the middle, Terra: land), is our sea surrounded by lands that shared a climate, sun, vegetation, morphology, and scents. The Roman Empire surrounded the sea, and when Roman triremes reached the coast, the first scent they smelled was that of the Mediterranean scrub, of wild bushes, combined with those of coastal trees: myrtle, mastic, maritime pine, rosemary, thyme, sage, and helichrysum. And the sea, with its salty scent.
We added Mediterranean olive pits, which have a spectacular exfoliating effect on the skin, softening it and removing dead cells.
A scent reminiscent of the coves of Mediterranean islands in summer, where the scent of the sun-drenched earth wafts over the docked boats, blending with these pleasant ancient scents.
